VIKING DAY: Be Strong to Be Useful
10am - 6pm
We are building a place where people can come together, unplug from the digital world, relax, connect, and be active in nature.
A place like that does not build or care for itself.
It takes a village, and we need your help to make it real.
Viking Day is one way we do that. In the spirit of the old Norse ways the land truly does not belong to us. We belong to the land.
This is a day to come together in the fresh air, work with our hands, and care for the land that holds us.
This is not a workshop
and it is not a heavily programmed retreat. It is a lived experience of slowing down.
Over the course of the weekend, you will have an opportunity to:
• Play board games and other simple group games
• Spend time wandering, playing, or resting in the woods
• Share meals and help care for the space together
• Sit around the campfire and enjoy real conversation
• Unplug from the digital world and reconnect with a slower rhythm «Beyond the Noise»
Your weekend will also include a rhythm of simple, grounding experiences:
• Time outdoors
• Unlimited access to a woodfire sauna and cold plunge
• Shared meals
• Campfire hangs
• Quiet moments
• Space to breathe without needing to produce anything

Join Us for a Transformative Weekend
Spend three days immersed in writing, reflection, nature, and nourishing community at Vandrar Hem. Through guided prompts, quiet writing time, shared conversation, and restorative practices, we will create the conditions for meaningful work to emerge.
Whether you are beginning, returning to a neglected practice, or deepening an ongoing one, this weekend is designed to help you reconnect with what is alive in your writing.
This is a call to listen to our childlike wonder, to remember awe, and to hear the quiet voice within.

Your weekend will also include a rhythm of grounding and restorative practices:
• Morning meditation and reflection
• Gentle movement and embodiment exercises
