Sanded and sealed wood blocks with mounted fittings, high quality rubber connections - great grip and long lasting. We build equipment made to last as long as you will - etre durer.
The standard length for shipping is 20 inches, but we can also offer extended lengths of 40” or 80” if you’re able to pick up in the NYC tri-state area.
A labor of love, trial-and-error, and years of nerding out over carpentry, The Beam is the magnum opus of our pop up playground set.
Taken from a raw 150 lb wood cut, we painstakingly plane, route, drill, and sand these pieces. Edges are rounded for safety, holes are machined to fit a standard bar set, and the faces are restored to bring out the natural wood grain for beauty and grip. Each beam is also treated with a weatherproof sealant, making these structures safe for both indoor and outdoor use.

We wanted to have a tool that would look nice and bring some natural wood inside. We wanted something we could carry with us to change the places we train and use indoors without risking the floor or the aesthetic.
These trainers are a low-profile, simple, and sleek design. They are a safe training tool for working on precision landings, footwork and balancing. The rubber will grip to most surfaces and is safe for indoor floors. Jesse made them in the backyard.

Options:
Raw: Natural wood, will age, wear, and grip differently. Jesse prefers this option.
Sealed: Will be water-resistant, change the grip slightly, and will keep looking new for longer.
